Sharing something you know to support 2012 free jazz events

We are raising funds to support nine "free admission" jazz events during the 2012 DC Jazz Festival. We will conduct online fundraising campaign on the indiegogo fundraising site and we welcome you to participate.

Can you donate as little as two hours sharing something you know to support free jazz events?

Tutor
a young person struggling to keep up in school? | Share a “conversation about life” over lunch or dinner? | Be the featured speaker at an organization's luncheon? | What about an in-studio visitor while you're working? | Teach someone to make a puppet? | Explain improvised jazz music to a class of middle school young people? | Advise a person who plans to create a non-profit, 501(c)3, tax-exempt corporation? | Teach a master class? | Conduct an energy audit? | Volunteer to teach art to seniors? | Perform a jazz duet? | Read poetry to a blind person? | Lead a tour through a museum exhibition?

Well, these ideas should get your creative juices flowing! You choose what you’re willing to share and the method you’ll use – to an individual or a group, in person, over the phone or the internet, etc. and we’ll see how people respond:

What are you offering to share?
Please be specific, especially if what you're offering is date/venue specific. Provide as much detail as you can so that the person selecting your offer is clear about what they are paying for. Also, understand that you are responsible for any out-of-pocket expenses related to your offer, ie., picking up the tab for lunch or dinner!
