Northeastern University First Year Class Council Application Form

Please fill out the following form to complete your application process. Applications for e-board positions are due Friday, October 2, 2009. If you have questions, please email Samantha Hurd at s.hurd@neu.edu.


Available E-board positions

President: provides oversight into the operations of the group, and will facilitate all meetings that the group holds.  Their job is to ensure that all goals for the program are being met, and that all e-board members are completing their tasks on time and efficiently.  The president also serves on the Inter Class Council (ICC) advisory board.

Executive Vice President: oversees all meetings in the absence of the President, and serves as the overseer for all subcommittees that may form on the council.  Their job is to also provide supervision to the chairpersons for any subcommittees that might form.

Vice President of Programming: work closely with the planning process of all of the council initiatives.  Their job is to collaborate with the Student Activities Office when planning a program to ensure that the program planning process is followed appropriately. 

Treasurer: Oversees the council operating budget.  Their job is to also attend all financial wor4kshops sponsored y the Student Activities Business Office (SABO) and Student Government Association (SGA). 

Secretary: primary record keeper for the council meetings.  Their job is to keep minutes from the meeting and to be responsible for identifying opportunities for the council to partner with other student organizations and campus offices in order to increase community involvement in the council.
